~$34.60/quarter (~$138.40/year) for a telephone-only connection, or ~$55.40/quarter (~$221.60/year) for a broadband internet connection. Paid quarterly with your eligible Centrelink payment.

How to apply

1. No separate application is required. 2. You receive the allowance automatically if you are on an eligible Centrelink payment and have a telephone or internet service. 3. Notify Centrelink if your connection type changes.
