Important: AusSchemes is an independent, non-government service. Always confirm eligibility and amounts on the official government source before applying for any scheme.

Not a government service

AusSchemes is a privately operated information service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Australian Government, Services Australia, any state or territory government, or any local council. The AusSchemes name and content are independent of all government entities.

General information only

The information on AusSchemes is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or professional advice of any kind. Nothing on this website should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or from the relevant government agency directly.

Accuracy and currency of information

We make reasonable efforts to keep scheme information accurate and up to date, with each scheme reviewed at least every 90 days. However, government schemes change frequently — eligibility rules, payment amounts, application processes, and scheme availability can all change without notice.

AusSchemes gives no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information on this site. You should always verify current eligibility rules, payment rates, and application requirements directly with the relevant government agency or on the official .gov.au website before making any decisions or applications.

Eligibility results are indicative only

The eligibility wizard provides indicative results based on a simplified set of questions and matching rules. A result of “Likely Eligible” or “Possibly Eligible” does not guarantee that you will be approved for a scheme. Actual eligibility is determined solely by the administering government agency, applying all current rules, income tests, assets tests, and other criteria.

A result of “Likely Not Eligible” also does not mean you are definitively ineligible — rules are complex and circumstances vary. If in doubt, contact the relevant agency directly.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AusSchemes and its operators accept no liability for any loss, damage, or adverse outcome (including missed payments, incorrect applications, or reliance on outdated information) arising from use of this website or its content.

Reporting errors

If you notice information that appears to be incorrect, outdated, or misleading, please use the “Report an issue” link on the relevant scheme page. We take accuracy seriously and will investigate all reports promptly.
