A payment to help with the cost of raising children. The amount depends on your family income, the ages of your children, and how many children you have.

What you get
A fortnightly or lump-sum payment per child. The maximum rate is ~$222.04/fortnight for a child under 13, and ~$288.82/fortnight for a child 13–19 (secondary student). Rates taper as family income rises above $60,000.
