Wage subsidies and incentive payments for employers who take on eligible Australian apprentices in priority occupations and industries.

Up to $5,000 in year one + $1,500 in year two

What you get

Up to $5,000 in the first 12 months and $1,500 in the second 12 months for taking on an eligible apprentice in a priority occupation. Additional incentives available for employers of Indigenous apprentices.

How to apply

1. Hire an eligible apprentice. 2. Sign a training contract. 3. Register with an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider. 4. The AASN provider will manage your incentive claims.
